Getting back into miniature painting - some essentials I've learnt to rely on

So having been back into the hobby for at least 12 months now, I realised that being on a budget meant not having all the fancy tools and finding ways around things.

Nail polish remover - obvious one but essential for making sure those brushes (and small dried spills) are clean. Water just isn't enough sometimes

Dip jars - make great water jars for cleaning your brushes

Water dropper - I vape so have a lot of these hanging around from my juice and after quite often putting too much water in my paint mixes switched to one of these for adding a drop of water

Reading Glasses - my eyes ain't what they used to be so detailed work was a pain, however, looking into magnifying glasses of all shapes and sizes I found these for a £1 in good old Poundland. I hang them on the end of my nose when painting details so i can just look down for a close up

Wet Palette - seriously can't emphasise how much of a difference these make and if you don't have one I highly recommend investing in one.
