Warhammer:40,000 App - about time

 

Seems like GameWorkshop have finally listened to the flags (and made out they always do) and brought down the subscription price of their WH40K app from £3.99 to £1.99

It's about time really, that subscription model was never going to work. I use free apps every day, so was never going to pay that kind of money each month for something that wouldn't be used even half as much.

The new price has got me thinking though and they are saying there will be additional features for this new price and the new update brings:

• A full suite of matched play list-building tools
• Custom sub-factions
• Granular, faction-specific upgrade options, such as Prototype System Weapons, Kustom Jobs, Tanks Aces, and Adaptive Physiology
• The latest content from Codex Supplement: Dark Angels
• The foundation for future Crusade campaign and narrative game support coming soon

There's no comment on when this change is taking place as the artical suggests it's now but when I looked at subscribing it still showed as £3.99
